A day. A night.
The hours all blend.
The pattern continues.
When does it end.
When does the waiting come to a halt.
How does it seem endless.
Is that my fault?
I tried to stay focused.
I tried to stay strong.
But the wait kept on growing.
It became much too long.
I found myself aching
For that familiar sight.
The sound of the music.
The feeling of fright.
Not knowing what was coming.
Or who soon would be lost.
I felt my heart chilling
And not from the cold winters frost.
I'm not alone in the madness.
I'm not the first who has said.
When will the wait be over?
When will we again see The Walking Dead?
